Jesus is the Way Home
Everyone’s life has a beginning and an ending. And what happens in-between determines your destination. If you desire heaven to be your future home you must come Jesus’ way. For He said “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can come to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6 NLT
You began life innocent but somewhere along the way you started doing things you know you should not have done. The Bible calls this sin.
Romans 6:23 “For everyone has sinned, we all fall short of God’s glorious standard." NLT
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Jesus loves you.
Romans 5:8 “But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” NLT
Will you acknowledge the truth to yourself and God that you are a sinner?
John 3:16 “For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” NLT
Not only does Jesus love you, you must also accept the truth about Jesus. The truth is this: ‘He is the sinless Son of God who died on the Cross for you. He died in your place so that you would not have to suffer eternal separation from God.’
I Peter 3:18 “Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but He died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but He was raised to life in the Spirit.” NLT
Do you believe the truth that Jesus loves you and that He died for you?
Romans 10:9-10, 13 “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” NLT
You call on the name of the Lord in prayer. Admitting to Him that you have sinned and asking Him to forgive you. Then by faith surrender your life to Him as Lord.
Here is the prayer I prayed the day the Lord saved me. After coming under conviction of my sin I cried out to Jesus saying “I’m a sinner, I’m a sinner, I need You Jesus. Forgive me.” And He did. My life has forever changed.
Will you right now ask Jesus to forgive you?
